The Montana Co-op is a virtual farmers market that currently encompasses food producers in western Montana, but will eventually include the entire state. Currently there are two food hubs: Ronan and Polson; work will start on establishing a Bigfork hub in the near future.

The Coop is preparing for the Dragon Boat race in Bigfork, with a Kid’s Coop team. Two separate events are listed below:
- Montana Coop, Kid’s Coop dragon boat team meetings and practice
- Two Montana Coop Booths at the Dragon Boat Race
Kids Coop Dragon Race Team
- What: Montana Kids Co-op, Preparing for the Dragon Boat race in Bigfork
- When: Kids Coop team meetings, Sept 10, 11, 12, 4 PM; Wed 9/11 will be mandatory practice
- Where: Polson HUB, 401 Main St., Polson MT. On Wed 9/11, the team will meet at the Polson Hub then travel to Bigfork for the mandatory practice at Flathead Lake Lodge.
- Who: All kids and young adults (up to age 25) who want to participate are welcome. No cost to participate.
Montana Co-op Booths at Dragon Boat Race in Bigfork
- What: Two Co-op booths:
– Montana Co-op will be sharing a booth with Kalispell Kreamery and other local producers, at the Dragon Boat race.
– Kid’s Coop booth in the Kids Activity area, where they will be making dragons out of balloons and veggies.
- When: The race will be held Saturday Sept 13, 8 AM – 5 PM and Sunday Sept 14, 8 AM – 3 PM in 2014;
- Where: Flathead Lake Lodge, Bigfork MT. The Kids Activity Area at the race is located by the water.
- Who: Open to the public.

The following is from Jason Moore of the Montana Co-op; Cat’s apologies for lack of clarity in the following text:
[Dragon Boat races] will be held this weekend in Bigfork (Sept. 13/14), it will be a lot of fun. We have a Montana Co-op booth that we’re sharing with local producers including Kalipell Kreamery and other local producers. We also have entered the Kids Co-op (up to age 25) in the race and are still filling seats in the 20 rower and 1 drummer boat. If you know of any kids, please ask them if they would like to join the team (no cost). We also have a booth in the Kids Activity area where we will be making dragons out of balloons and veggies. We have 3 dragon boat meetings this week – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; all start at 4pm at the Polson HUB. On Wednesday, the team is going up to Bigfork for a mandatory practice. We need to fill the boat, with kids and adults (if necessary).
